Our guides mainly cover South America (Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador), Southeast Asia (Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia) and Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece). Every guide is built for backpackers on a limited budget: we favour affordable places to stay, local restaurants where you can eat for a few euros, and free or low-cost activities.

What makes our guides different is that they always build in an eco-conscious approach. We recommend overland transport over domestic flights, homestays over hotel chains, and experiences that support the local economy over mass-market attractions. You'll also find a "Travel responsibly" box with tips specific to each destination.
