Argentina welcomed us with its characteristic intensity. From the moment we set foot on the streets of Buenos Aires amid the tango music drifting from the milongas and the aroma of meat sizzling on the sidewalks we knew this country would leave a lasting impression on us. Our stories from Argentina chronicle a journey from north to south: nights spent on buses crossing the endless Pampas, freezing mornings gazing at the Perito Moreno Glacier, and afternoons sipping mate in Mendoza’s parks with locals we met by chance.
About Our Travel Blog
Mathilde and I chose to travel slowly, favouring overland transport and real exchanges with locals. That slower-than-average pace let us experience things a classic itinerary never would: staying with a family in a village with no tourists, sharing an impromptu meal on the side of a Bolivian road, or stumbling on an archaeological site no guidebook mentions. That's what we share here.
